The holidays have always been a special time at A and H Insurance – a time for gratitude and giving.
Several years ago our agency decided that instead of sending Christmas cards to our clients, those funds would be better spent on charity donations, and thus the Holiday Helper Charity Donation Contest was born. Clients, staff, and social media followers have the chance to vote on the top four charities. While all the 10 charity organizations will receive a donation from A and H Insurance, the top four Holiday Helper winners for 2020 are…
enCompass Academy, Northern Nevada Hopes, Veterans Guest House, and Reno Sparks Gospel Mission.
This year we felt it was especially important to support the communities we serve. Early on in the pandemic we decided to help out where we could by donating meals, snacks, or funds needed by those First Responders or Charities in our communities. We supported Renown Hospital-South Meadows, REMSA, Humboldt General Hospital, Yerington Food Bank, Apache Junction Food Bank, Elko medical Center, and the Fernley Boys and Girls Club Meal Program.
A and H and its staff also helped 18 other charities around Northern Nevada and Arizona in 2020 with donations desperately needed by these nonprofits.
We are proud to serve our communities in Nevada and Arizona and appreciate your help in deciding this year’s winners. All of these organizations do great work and deserve all of our support. Thank you again, and we hope your holiday season is merry and bright! Stay safe and healthy!
