Personal Lines Insurance Representative – Reno, NV

Come join a growing company! A and H Insurance, Inc. has been in the insurance industry for over 60 years servicing Personal, Commercial and Benefits clients. We are looking for someone who is an experienced full-time Personal Lines Representative. In this role, you will receive benefits (including PTO, 401(k), health insurance, etc.), competitive compensation, and an opportunity to grow. Salary is depending on experience. This role will primarily be focused on servicing our new and existing clients.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, both new and existing.
  • Quote new businesses for small, medium and large accounts.
  • Renewal of accounts, including quoting, creating renewal proposals, binding coverage, and checking renewal policies for accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests for service, including resolving billing, coverage and underwriting issues.
  • Monitor monthly expiration lists and activities for all assigned accounts.
  • Maintain updated client and policy information with the agency management system.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
  • Be outstanding at relationship building
  • Support Office Team (answer phones, open mail, etc).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Nevada Property & Casualty License
  • Must continue to meet continuing education requirements for license renewal.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative
  • Team Player in fast-paced busy office environment
  • Self-motivated, positive outlook and attitude

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty license in Arizona and 3 years of commercial lines sales experience
