- Experimenting with different foods can influence metabolic, mental, and physical function of the body.
- Eating a variety of foods, including red meats, white meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and healthy carbs and fats each have health benefits that vary from one another. Having a diet that includes a wide variety of food types can keep the body function balanced in that you are supplying all parts of the body with adequate levels of the different types of nutrients.
- This week you will be encouraged to avoid sugar, alcoholic beverages, refined foods, LDL foods (doughnuts, French fries, ice cream, etc.), and high levels of sodium.
